SUBDIVISION APPLICATIONS

The Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) is the sole government department responsible for granting subdivision approval throughout Western Australia.

Weather it is a residential, commercial, industrial, environmental or rural subdivision, we ensure an optimal design that responds to the planning framework requirements, land opportunities and constraints, and to the ultimate marketability and functionality to the end users.

Each subdivision is unique and will need to respond to different impacts it has on the site and surrounding environment. All application require a Plan of Subdivision and covering letter / report detailing the applications conformance with the relevant planning framework. Depending on the proposed subdivision, one or more of the following technical assessments may be required.

  • Feature and Contour Survey
  • Bushfire Attack Level Map / Bushfire Management Plan
  • Acoustic Assessment
  • Site and Soil Assessment / Onsite Wastewater Disposal
  • Traffic Impact Statement / Assessment
  • Basic Summary of Records (Contaminated Sites)
  • Liveable Neighbourhoods Assessment

Land Planning Consultants specialise in navigating the process of obtaining subdivision approval, minimising timeframes to reduce delays and increase profitability.
